Our first stop, Murano, discover why the island is renowned for its glassworks with a visit to a local glass factory. Watch a skilled craftsman demonstrate glass making. Afterwards, you will have about an hour on the island to shop at one of the many glass shops. Head to Burano, known for its lace and brightly colored houses. You will have 2 hours of free time. Venture from Burano to Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. Spend an hour of free time. Return to San Marco in the early evening
